President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday called on BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMA and all stakeholders to work together to address the existing challenges in the garments sector.

He also stressed the need to reduce bank interest to ensure necessary protection for sustaining growth and increasing investment in the country.
Mirza Fakhrul urged industrial owners to move towards alternative energy sources including solar power to resolve the energy crisis. The President thanked BKMEA for playing an important role in earning foreign currency for the country.
