Prime Bank hosts seminar on financial inclusion at BUP

Prime Bank PLC, in collaboration with Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), organised a seminar recently titled “Financial Inclusion: Engaging and Inspiring Youth in Banking” under its flagship PrimeAcademia initiative.
With special participation from Lt Col SM Zobaer Alam, chairman of Department of Business Administration-General Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) of BUP, and Lt Israt Jahan Dina, the event turned into a lively exchange of ideas, inspiration and learning.
They also addressed the audience, underscoring the importance of financial literacy and leadership skills for students.
M Nazeem A Choudhury, deputy managing director of Prime Bank PLC, led the discussion, inspiring students to envision meaningful careers built on purpose and innovation.
The seminar highlighted the importance of industry–academia collaboration, with both Prime Bank and BUP reaffirming their commitment to strengthening partnerships through student-focused initiatives, research collaborations, and skill development programmes, said a press release.
