To cultivate human values, social responsibility, mutual harmony, and a spirit of volunteerism among the youth, the Darus Salam thana unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho organised an exchange-of-views meeting in Dhaka.
The session focused on mobilising young individuals into
constructive community activities, standing beside underprivileged populations,
expanding educational outreach, and forging coordinated responses to pressing
social issues.
Organised under the guidance of Bashundhara Shuvosangho
Dhaka Metropolitan Coordinator Abdul Hannan Milton, the event was led by Darus
Salam thana unit President of Bashundhara Shuvosangho Yasin Sheikh and General
Secretary Tamim Islam Ebadot.
Addressing the gathering, Abdul Hannan Milton underscored that youths must look beyond personal ambitions and contribute directly to collective welfare. "Young people possess the potential to build a progressive, conscientious society by practising empathy, civic responsibility, and mutual cooperation," he said.
Echoing this sentiment, Yasin Sheikh remarked that youth
participation is vital for driving meaningful social reform. "We aim to
engage youngsters in positive initiatives on a regular basis to nurture an
innate willingness to stand by distressed humanity," he noted.
General Secretary Tamim added, "Our mission is to
spread progressive ideas, solidarity, and human values through Shuvosangho
platforms. We remain dedicated to serving the common good through concerted
efforts."
The meeting was attended by Vice-President Rashedul Islam,
Joint Secretary Md Shahidul Islam Shaon, Finance Secretary Sohan Ahamed Rizon,
Event Secretary Fatema Shirin, Publicity Secretary Md Zakaria, Literary and
Cultural Affairs Secretary Nadia Afrin Nodi, IT Secretary Hasibul Rahman,
Hospitality Secretary Hawa Moni, and Relief and Disaster Management Secretary Fatematul
Jannat, among others.
