The service initiative was organised on Saturday at
Bashundhara Shuvosangho School in Buridangi, located in the Lakshmiteri area of
Mahipur union in Gangachara upazila.
The programme was organised by the Lions Club of
Rangpur under the Lions International District 315 A2 Bangladesh initiative,
with the theme “Leadership for True Lionism.” The event also included the
distribution of clothing for children and serving nutritious food.
Farid Ahmed Rumi, club president of Lions Club of
Rangpur for 2026-27, presided over the programme. Adviser and Club Director
Golam Mostafa Titu moderated the event, while Club Secretary Aklakul Islam
Tarek sponsored the programme.

Leaders of the Lions Club of Rangpur said the
organisation has been conducting various humanitarian and social service
activities for people from different sections of society as part of its
commitment to community welfare.
They said such initiatives would continue through various programmes to support people and contribute to their wellbeing.
