Members of the newly formed Dhaka University unit of Bashundhara Shuvosangho paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Niaz Ahmed Khan on Sunday (16 Nov).

The meeting took place at the VC’s office in the afternoon.

The delegation included newly elected committee President Abdul Momin, General Secretary Riyadus Salehin, Organisational Secretary Protikkha Rani, along with other committee members.

During the meeting, the Shuvosangho representatives briefed the vice-chancellor on the organisation’s ongoing activities, various voluntary initiatives undertaken for the welfare of university students, and their future plans.

VC Niaz praised the humanitarian and social development-oriented efforts of Shuvosangho and encouraged students to stay engaged in positive and community-focused activities.

He also advised the newly formed committee to lead the organisation responsibly and assured them of the university administration’s cooperation in welfare initiatives.

The meeting concluded with the committee members presenting the VC with a bouquet.
