The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee has instructed all educational institutions not to charge any additional fees from candidates in the name of filling out forms for the HSC and equivalent (supplementary) examinations.
Legal
action will be taken against the heads of the concerned institutions and the
institutions themselves for violating the directive.
The instruction was issued in an order published by the Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers' Committee recently.
The
order said complaints had been received from various sources that additional
fees were being collected from candidates in the name of filling out forms for
the HSC and equivalent (supplementary) examinations.
In
view of these complaints, the committee has clearly instructed that no
additional fees can be collected from any candidate for filling out examination
forms for the HSC and equivalent (supplementary) examinations.
The
education boards have requested principals of all educational institutions at
the HSC level to comply with the directive with due importance.
