51 medical centres approved for health tests of Malaysia-bound workers

The Foreign Workers Centralised Management System (FWCMS) has approved 51 medical centres in Bangladesh to conduct mandatory health examinations for workers seeking employment in Malaysia, publishing the list on its official website on Friday.
According to the list under the ‘Affiliates’ section of the website, all 51 centres are registered with the relevant local government authorities and audited by Bestinet Sdn Bhd. They are all listed under the Dhaka region.
The FWCMS said all workers must undergo a mandatory bio-medical examination before travelling to Malaysia. The process of applying for an Electronic Visa with Reference (eVDR) cannot begin until the required health test has been completed.
The authority also said the list of approved medical centres is updated regularly.
Among the approved facilities are Asia Diagnostic and Medical Centre Ltd, Famous Specialised Hospital, Global Medicare Diagnostic Centre Ltd, Human Diagnostic and Medical Centre, Ibn Omar Medical and Diagnostic Centre, Ideal Diagnostic and Medical Centre, Jannah Medical Services, Lab Science Diagnostic, Leading Health Check Up Ltd, Perfect Medicare Ltd, Pushpa Clinic, Sunlight Diagnostic Centre, Universal Medical College and Hospital Ltd, Medinet Medical Services Pvt Ltd and Unicare Medical Services.
Other approved centres include Dynamic Lab, Greenland Medical Centre Ltd, Ishtiaq Medical Centre, LB Healthcare, Medipath Medical and Diagnostic Centre, MyLab Medical and Diagnostic Centre Pvt Ltd, Reliance Lab, Unity Medical Checkup Centre, Sara Medical Centre, Suraksha Medical Centre Ltd, Star Medical and Diagnostic Centre, Wadi Health Checkup, Care Wave, Sara Health Care, Shahida Khatun Digital Medical Centre, Zara Health Care, Ever Green Medical Centre, Delta Health Care, Rampura Ltd and Aichi Hospital Ltd.
The remaining centres on the list are AF Medical Centre, Prime Diagnostic Ltd, World Horizon Medical Services Ltd, Index Diagnostic Centre, Ramin Health Centre, Smart Medical Centre, Lab Quest Ltd, Anas Medical Centre Ltd, Standard Medical Centre, Al-Jami Diagnostic Centre, One Plus Medical Centre, Pure Health Medical Centre, Medifly Health Services, Sunmoon Medical Centre Ltd, True Health Medical and Diagnostic Centre, Comfort Medical Checkup Centre and Vita Health Medical Centre.
The FWCMS has advised workers planning to go to Malaysia to undergo their health examinations only at centres included in the approved list to avoid complications during recruitment and visa processing.
