Supplementary HSC exams to begin on 1 December

Supplementary examinations for students who failed in up to two subjects in the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will begin on 1 December.

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee announced the decision in a press release issued on Wednesday.

According to the press release, both regular and irregular candidates who appeared in the 2026 HSC and equivalent examinations and failed in a maximum of two subjects will be eligible to sit the supplementary examinations.

HSC result re-scrutiny applications open until 7 November

The detailed examination schedule will be published later on the respective education boards' websites.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, signed the press release.
