Bus-Laguna collision kills four in Dhaka’s Kallyanpur

Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a passenger bus and a Laguna (a small passenger vehicle) in the capital’s Kallyanpur on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred at around 7:45am on Nawab’s Road in the Uttarpara area of Kallyanpur.

The deceased could not be identified immediately.

Talha Bin Jasim, media officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the deaths of four people in the accident.

He said a firefighting unit reached the scene after receiving the information and launched a rescue operation. The deceased included two men and two women.
