Students of only 139 educational institutions achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations, down sharply from 345 institutions last year.
A total of 9,439 educational institutions took part in this year's examinations, which were held under 11 education boards.
The results were published at 10:40am on Saturday through the education boards' websites, examination centres, educational institutions and SMS.
A total of 1,270,583 candidates appeared in the examinations at 2,697 centres across the country.
The examinations began on 2 July, with written tests ending on 8 August. However, examinations under the Chattogram Education Board were postponed due to floods, and the remaining tests were completed on 9 September.
Students dissatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer scripts online from 1 to 7 November, according to a press release. Detailed instructions are available on the respective education boards' websites.
