A A

The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on Saturday.

Examinees will be able to collect their results online and via mobile phone text messages (SMS) after the formal publication ceremony at the International Mother Language Institute in the capital at 11:00am on the day.

The Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Tuesday issued a press release, outlining the methods for examinees and educational institutions to access the results.

Online method

According to the release, examinees and educational institutions will be able to view and download the results from the common websites of the education boards – https://eduboardresults.gov.bd and https://educationboardresults.gov.bd – as well as from the respective education boards’ websites.

Educational institutions will be able to download the complete result sheets by visiting the ‘Result’ section of the board websites and using their respective Educational Institution Identification Number (EIIN). Examinees will also be able to collect their results directly from their respective educational institutions.

SMS method

The release said results can be obtained quickly and easily by sending an SMS from any mobile phone number.

To do so, examinees will have to type HSC, followed by a space, the first three letters of their education board’s name, another space, their roll number, another space and 2026, and send the message to 16140.

For example, an examinee should type “HSC Dha 123456 2026” and send it to 16140.

The release also said that results would not be distributed directly from the education boards, the Ministry of Education or newspaper offices.

Applications for re-scrutiny of answer scripts will be accepted from 1 to 7 November. Detailed instructions on the application process will be published on the education boards’ websites.
