Govt transfers 85 sub-registrars

The government has transferred 85 sub-registrars, who are tasked with approving land deeds and collecting relevant revenues, to different sub-registry offices across the country.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs sent an order in this regard to the Inspector General of the Directorate of Registration on Monday.

The transferred officials must leave their current workstations by 29 October, and join their new stations immediately afterwards, the order read.
