Fire breaks out at Gazipur garment factory warehouse

A fire broke out at a warehouse of Supreme Garments at Kashimpur in Gazipur on Saturday morning.

The carton warehouse caught fire around 11am in Paschim Shoildubi area, said Ariful Islam, an official of Kashimpur Fire Service.

Eight firefighting units of the Fire Service are working to bring the blaze under control.

Ariful said the presence of a large quantity of empty cartons inside the warehouse contributed to the intensity of the fire.

However, the cause of the fire could not be determined immediately. No casualties have been reported so far.
