President’s daughter extends Durga Puja greetings from Australia

Dr Shamaruh Mirza, eldest daughter of President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, has extended greetings marking the Durga Puja festival from her current residence in Canberra, Australia.

In a post on her Facebook page, the physician also said that she misses the Durga Puja celebrations back in her home country, Bangladesh.

Shamaruh Mirza has attacked a photo with the post, where she is seen at a puja mandap in Canberra.

According to multiple netizens, the Facebook post highlights the non-communal spirit of the president’s daughter, her homesickness, and her love for motherland.
