PM Tarique opens July Memorial at Osmani Udyan
The historic Dhaka park reopens to the public after modernisation costing around Tk50 crore

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Monday inaugurated the newly built ‘July Memorial’ at the historic Osmani Udyan in the capital, reopening the renovated park to the public after a major modernisation project.
He formally inaugurated the renovated park and the memorial on its premises at 10am.
The modernisation work was completed at a cost of around Tk50 crore, making the long-closed park accessible to city residents again.
The July Memorial has been built within the park as part of the redevelopment.
