Amar Ekushey Book Fair to begin on 7 Jan

The Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2027 will begin on 7 January and continue until 6 February, according to a press release issued by Bangla Academy on Sunday.

The dates were finalised by consensus among publishers’ representatives at a meeting held at the Shaheed Munier Chowdhury Conference Room of Bangla Academy on 13 October to discuss preparations for the annual book fair.

Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury chaired the meeting, while Cultural Affairs Adviser Zahed Ur Rahman and ministry Secretary Yasmin Begum were also present.
