Five killed in truck-auto-rickshaw collision in Kurigram

Five people were killed in a collision between a truck and an auto-rickshaw on the Dhaka-Roumari highway in Kurigram on Saturday afternoon.

The identities of the deceased were not immediately known.

Locals said a speeding cargo truck hit an auto-rickshaw near Sayedabad Bazar, killing three people on the spot and two others on their way to hospital.

However, Kawsar Ali, officer-in-charge of Rowmari Police Station, confirmed the deaths of three people.
