Education minister makes surprise visit to textbook printing press

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Hoque Milon on Tuesday made an unannounced visit to Farazi Press and Publications in Daudkandi, Cumilla, to inspect the quality of textbooks being printed there for the new academic year.

During the visit, the minister inspected the ongoing printing work and spoke with officials concerned to assess the quality of the books and overall progress.

He stressed maintaining the prescribed standards in printing to ensure that students receive quality textbooks on time.

The minister also directed the authorities concerned to ensure quality at every stage of the printing process, warning that those involved in supplying substandard books would face exemplary punishment.

Director General of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Prof Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel and senior ministry officials were present.
