98 customs officials transferred

A total of 98 officers of the customs, excise and VAT department under the National Board of Revenue (NBR) have been transferred and posted to new workplaces.

The NBR’s Customs and VAT Administration branch issued a notification in this regard on Monday.

According to the notification, the transferred and newly posted officials have been assigned to various customs, excise and VAT commissionerates, including those in Dhaka, Chattogram, Khulna and Rajshahi.

It also said the transferred officials would be relieved from their current workplaces on 8 October and would subsequently join their new workplaces.
