The Ziaur Rahman Foundation (ZRF) has organised a nationwide competition titled “Searching for Future Scientists 2026” to encourage innovations and science-based research.

With the theme “Research, Innovation and Technology Development,” the competition aims to promote innovative ideas among students and teachers.

The deadline for registration is 30 September, said a press release of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

Students and teachers aged 18 or above from any university or medical college in Bangladesh will be eligible to participate. Following an initial screening, the divisional round of the competition will be held on 30 October.

The participants must present original and unique innovative ideas. Previously presented or copied projects will not be accepted, as per the press release.

Each participant must attend in person and demonstrate a model of their own innovation.

Those selected for the final round will get an opportunity to present their projects directly before ZRF President Tarique Rahman and Vice President Dr Zubaida Rahman.

The winners will receive gold, silver and bronze medals and the top five winners will receive attractive financial support to develop their projects into startups.

Interested participants have been requested to complete the registration process and provide the required information through the designated website (https://zrf.info/registration).
