The estimated value of the seized goods was Tk25,42,300.

Chuadanga Battalion (6 BGB) recovered 78 bottles of Indian liquor, 25 bottles of Eskuf syrup, 900 grams of Indian cannabis, 800 cyproheptadine tablets and 9,040 dexamethasone tablets from its operational areas. The seized items were valued at Tk30,82,150.

In Moulvibazar, a joint patrol of BGB and police seized five Indian buffaloes worth Tk5,10,000 from the Gaurnagar area. The smugglers fled into nearby bushes when the patrol team approached.

The BGB said its anti-smuggling and anti-narcotics operations would continue along the border to prevent cross-border smuggling and illegal activities.
