Gas supply to be suspended for 8hrs in parts of Dhaka Tuesday

Gas supply will remain suspended for eight hours in parts of the capital on Tuesday due to pipeline maintenance work.

According to Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC, the suspension is necessary for the replacement of old leaking distribution pipelines and the installation of new service lines in the Free School Street, Hatirpool, Pukurpar, and Dhanmondi areas.

As a result, residential and commercial consumers in Free School Street, Bhuter Goli, Kitchen Road, Al Amin Road, and Kanthalbagan will face a gas outage from 12 noon to 8pm.

During the period, low pressure may prevail in the adjacent areas, said Titas Gas, regretting the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
