The third death anniversary of AKM Mustaque Ali, one of the founding executive directors of INCIDIN Bangladesh, was observed on Sunday.

INCIDIN Bangladesh is a rights-based civil society organisation working to establish and promote human rights, including child rights.

As part of the observance, a special meal and a remembrance session were organised at noon for children at the organisation’s centre for street children in Dhalpur, Jatrabari, in the capital.

Later in the afternoon, a discussion session titled “Child Rights Governance Alliance: A Retrospective” was held in the AKM Mustaque Ali Conference Room at the organisation’s head office in Mohammadpur.

INCIDIN Bangladesh Chairman Tofazzal Hossain presided over the event, which was moderated by Executive Director AKM Masud Ali. Members of INCIDIN Bangladesh and distinguished representatives of its partner organisations attended the programme.

Human rights activist Advocate Salma Ali, Nari Maitree Executive Director Shahin Akhter Dolly, DISA Executive Director Md Shahidullah, and SUF Director Tipu Sultan, among others, spoke on the occasion.
