Daily Sun celebrates one million followers on Facebook page

The Daily Sun has celebrated reaching one million followers on its Bangla Facebook page with a cake-cutting ceremony.

Founder and Chairman of Safwan Bashundhara Global (SBG) Safwan Sobhan Tasvir, Vice-Chairman Yeasha Sobhan, and their daughter Rania Afroza Sobhan attended the event.

The milestone was marked at a special event held at the Daily Sun office located in SBG Tower in the capital’s Bashundhara Residential Area on Monday.

Speaking at the event, Safwan Sobhan Tasvir, also the vice-chairman of Bashundhara Group, said that reaching one million followers is just the beginning and a shared achievement for the entire team.

“Through continued quality work, the Daily Sun would soon reach the five million milestone,” he hoped.

Among others present were Daily Sun Editor Rezaul Karim Lotus, members of the editorial board, journalists, and officials of the organisation.

In his speech, Editor Rezaul Karim Lotus said, “We have achieved success in other areas as well, and we have made significant progress in both online and multimedia platforms.”

Speakers at the event said the achievement reflects readers’ trust and support on digital platforms.

They noted that the Daily Sun continues to work towards delivering fast and reliable news to its readers.

The event also featured cake cutting, exchange of views, and discussions on future plans.

The organisation expressed gratitude to its readers and reaffirmed its commitment to delivering objective and timely news.

It is worth mentioning that the Daily Sun’s Bangla Facebook page regularly publishes important national and international news, analysis, and features, gaining significant popularity among readers in a short time.
