plains, are an integral part of the nation's collective festivals," said
the premier.
He expressed hope that these celebrations would bring peace
and happiness to national life.
The traditions, culture, heritage and history of the various

The Prime Minister said the spirit of harmony and
coexistence is deeply embedded in the country's folk traditions, and that

security, and the protection of fundamental rights as enshrined in the
Constitution for all citizens, including members of various small ethnic

has equal rights as a Bangladeshi, he added.
The premier further expressed hope that the traditional festivals of ethnic communities and the Bengali New Year would bring peace, happiness and prosperity to all.
