Treatment of Mirza Abbas in Singapore postponed due to surgery

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s political adviser Mirza Abbas is not being taken to Singapore on Friday as previously planned, as he has recently undergone surgery at Dhaka’s Evercare Hospital.

The information was confirmed on Friday afternoon by BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.

He said that although there had been plans to take Mirza Abbas to Singapore for treatment, the decision was postponed as he has undergone an operation at Evercare Hospital.

Shayrul added that the matter was confirmed to him by Mirza Abbas’s son, Mirza Yasir Abbas.
