The Bangladesh Army, in coordination with other law

Units from various infantry divisions and independent
brigades took part in the drives to maintain overall law and order, it added.
Among those arrested were suspected terrorists, drug dealers
and addicted members of robber gangs, juvenile gang members, and smugglers,
according to the ISPR release.
The detainees were reportedly caught red-handed during the
operations.
All arrested individuals were handed over to the respective
police stations for further interrogation and legal proceedings, it continued.
The press release also stated that the Bangladesh Army is
continuing regular patrols and security operations nationwide to ensure public
safety. In addition, the army is actively performing its duties to control
labor unrest in industrial areas.
ISPR emphasized that such operations will continue in the

The public has been urged to inform the nearest army camp if
any suspicious or unusual activities are noticed.
