The interim government’s advisers on Thursday embarked on a week-long
tour to different districts of the country to create public awareness about the
referendum on July Charter implementation.
Until 21 January, the advisers will inform the people in different
districts about the significance, purpose and process of the referendum, said a
press release issued by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing.
On Thursday, Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan went to
Chattogram, where he is set to hold talks with relevant officials and attend different
people-oriented programmes.
As part of the campaign, the advisers will exchange views
with people from different classes and professions, including representatives
of the local administration and civil society, and will increase public
awareness about participating in the referendum.
