The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has transferred officers-in-charge
of 50 police stations to other police stations under its purview, as part of
the government’s efforts to reshuffle the force ahead of national elections.
DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali signed the transfer order on Thursday,
saying the transfers would be effective immediately.
