Coaching Centre fined for defying ban in Bogura

BOGURA: A mobile court on Friday fined Sunlit Ideal School and Coaching Center Taka 60,000 on charge of running coaching business in Jaleswaritala area of the district defying a government ban.

Executive Magistrates of the district administration Ishrat Jahan and Nasim Reza conducted the raid at Sunlit Ideal School and Coaching center in Jaleswaritala area in the district on Friday.

During the raid, a total of four teachers of the coaching center were fined Taka 15,000 each on charge of carrying out the coaching business and endangering the community.

The district administration is conducting mobile court to create awareness among people about the spread of Covid-19.

The mobile court will continue similar drives in future, executive magistrate Nasim Reza added.

Executive Magistrate Nasim Reza added that according to the infectious diseases (Prevention, Control and Eradication) Act-2018, four teachers of Sunlit Ideal School and Coaching center were fined.

Later, the court sealed off the coaching center.
