Cultural arena of the country paid homage to language martyrs, marking Amar Ekushey  and International Mother Language Day on Sunday. 

1. State Minister for Information Dr Md. Murad Hassan and State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid place a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar in the capital.

2. Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky along with others places a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar. 

3. Artistes perform dance at the auditorium of National Theatre Hall of Shilpakala Academy.

4.  Members of Central Khelaghar Asar place a wreath at the Central Shaheed Minar.
