The Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) honoured the movers in the country’s ICT sector for their innovation and communication technology.

Some 69 projects were given the BASIS National ICT Awards 2019 in 35 categories at a ceremony held at Radisson Blu Hotel in the capital on Saturday night. 

Information Minister Hasan Mahmud attended the programme chief guest.

State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain, Sate Minister for Social Welfare Sharif Ahmed and State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak attended the programme as guests of honour.

BASIS President Syed Almas Kabir presided over the function and BASIS Director Didarul Alam made address of welcome.
