SU MBA students make industrial visit

Students of MBA final semester of Southern University made an industrial visit to the Bengal Sack Corporation Limited in the city’s Khatunganj area recently.

They made the visit as part of their academic course to obtain practical experience for using of the knowledge earned from the university education.

The industry Deputy General Manager (Finance and Accounts) Mohammad Helal Uddin and Assistant General Manager (Factory) Prabir Chandra Sikder put up different issues including stages of production, garbage management, maintenance, challenges and potentials before the visiting teachers and students.

The students also observed the production and distribution processes of the industry.

The university teachers and students expressed their gratefulness to the industry management for making such arrangement.

Business Administration department Assistant Professor CM Atiqur Rahman and Md Gaffar Hossain Shah led the 15 member teams of the final semester.  

Later, the visiting teachers and students handed over a memento to officials of the Bengal Sack Corporation Limited.

Mentionable, Southern University organises such visit for students of different disciplines as part of their academic courses to help gather experiences and use those in their respective fields of work in future.
