Saudi navy chief meets his Bangladesh counterpart

Commander of Royal Saudi Naval Forces Vice Admiral Fahad Bin Abdullah Al-Ghofaily called on Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Aurangzeb Chowdhury at Naval Headquarters in the capital’s Banani on Monday.  Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Rear Admiral M Makbul Hossain welcomed a delegation led by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Commander, says a press release.   

A Naval Contingent of Bangladesh Navy gave him a guard of honour.

During the meeting, the Bangladesh navy chief laid emphasis on further strengthening the relationship between the two brotherly nations. They also discussed different issues of bi-lateral interests. 

Moreover, the visiting Royal Saudi Naval Forces Commander was also given brief idea about BN training system, operational activities and capabilities. He also signed the visitor’s book in Naval Headquarters.

The other members of the delegation are Rear Admiral Emad Bin Omar Al-Khattab (Head of Naval Force Logistics & Supply Division), Commodore Saad Bin Abdullah Al-Amri (Head of Naval Force Operations Division), Commodore Mansour Bin Saud Aljuaid (Head of Naval Force Intelligence and Security Division), Commodore Mansour Bin Naza Alotaibi (Director of Naval Force Training Directorate), Commodore Mater Bin Salah Almatrafi (Head of the Western Fleet) and Commander Abdullah Bin Fahad Alwaheed (Director of Public Relation and Doctrine Command).
