Workers of 8 municipalities go on work abstention

NATORE: The regular services in all eight municipalities here came to a halt on Monday morning due to a work abstention called by the workers, reports UNB.

The municipality workers enforced the work abstention at 9am demanding their salaries and pensions to be paid from the state treasury.

Municipality Service Association Central Organizing Secretary Julfiqur Hayder and Natore unit president Provat Kumar Chanda spoke at a protest meeting in front of Natore Municipality building.
