Journalists allege harassment inside Rohingya camps

COX'S BAZAR: Cox's Bazar Journalists Union has given a three-day ultimatum to stop what they allege to be harassment of journalists in Rohingya camps here, reports UNB.

Journalist leaders announced the ultimatum at Cox's Bazar Press Club at 2 pm on Wednesday following a special general meeting.

Leaders urged the authority to ensure working environment for journalists within next three days. They threatened to take strict measures if their demand is not met.

Speakers at the meeting said many crimes are being committed inside Rohingya camps. There have been many irregularities including militant activities, Yaba smuggling and human trafficking.
