North South University Law & Mooting Society, a student organisation of the private university, organised the second installment of their signature event which consists of nine different segments.
The newly elected mayor also urged students to come forward to turn Dhaka into a safe and livable city.
The session was chaired by NSU Vice-Chancellor Prof Atiqul Islam while Pro-VC (Designate) Prof. Dr. G.U. Ahsan and two deans -- Mohammed Shajahan and Benajir Ahmed, were present, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Atiqul Islam said, “We have many laws, but there is no proper enforcement.”
He also informed the DNCC mayor that they will form a Disaster Management Team which will work with the mayor to improve social development and public relations in the city.
