Spokesperson of the governing Awami League-led 14-party coalition Mohammed Nasim said BNP is now feeling depressed which results from their ‘wrong politics’.
“They (BNP) have been suffering from frustration due to their wrong politics. All will have to remain vigilant about BNP’s conspiracy,” he said.Nasim, also the Awami League presidium member, came up with the statements while addressing a press conference after emerging from a meeting of the 14-party alliance at Awami League headquarters on Bangabandhu Avenue in the city on Monday.
Talking about the arrest of BNP leader and owner of FR Tower, who BNP claims was arrested on political grounds, Nasim urged BNP not to ‘politicise everything’.
“It’s now typical of BNP to politicise everything and blame the government for every incident. Even if a corrupt person is arrested, you (BNP) politicize it in his favour, which could not be accepted.
“The owner of the FR Tower constructed 22 floors after receiving permission for an 18-storey building. So, the owner of the FR Tower was arrested,” Nasim said.
Urging the MPs-elect of the BNP to take oath and join parliament, he said if they do not swear oath within April 30, their membership will be null and void.
