Seminar on KOICA’s Master’s Scholarship Program held

Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in collaboration with NGO Affairs Bureau hosted an introductory seminar on ‘KOICA’s Master’s Scholarship Program 2019’ at NGO Affairs Bureau in the capital’s Agargaon on Monday.

K.M. Abdus Salam, Director General, NGO Affairs Bureau, and Joe Hyun-Gue, Country Director, KOICA Bangladesh Office along with several representatives from various prominent NGOs and INGOs in Bangladesh were present at the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, KOICA’s Country Director sincerely thanked NGO Affairs Bureau for joining hands together in this new horizon of partnership and further encouraged the NGO officials to act as a bridge between Korea and Bangladesh and contribute to Bangladesh’s socio-economic progression.

The event was held to officially open up dialogues with NGO Affairs Bureau and introduce KOICA’s Scholarship Program to the participants in attendance to avail the first-time opportunity for NGO workers.

KOICA’s fully-funded Scholarship Program is offered as part of KOICA’s Fellowship Program to enhance human resource capacity of the country’s institutions and in turn contribute to its socio-economic development since 2003.
