Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh (SCB) organised the 37 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the organisation at Dhaka Club in the capital on Thursday.
Md Rezaul Karim, Chairman, SCB chaired the AGM, said a press release.The AGM reviewed country’s trade, transport, shipping and port related problems in the context of world foreign trade situation.
It also reviewed the performances of the council during the last one year which include measures taken for enhancing its services to the shippers i.e. exporters and importers.
The AGM also discussed the inter-action with Asian Shippers’ Alliance (ASA) and Global Shippers’ Alliance (GSA).
SCB Senior Vice-Chairman Ariful Ahsan, Vice-Chairman Md. Munir Hossain and directors along with a good number of members attended the meeting.
