JP will never practice destructive politics, says GM Quader

Jatiya Party (JP) co-chairman GM Quader, also deputy leader of the opposition in parliament, on Tuesday said the party will never practice destructive politics in the name of opposition.

“Jatiya Party will never do destructive politics in the name of opposition. But it will fulfill people’s expectation through constitutional and peaceful movement in parliament and street,” he said.

The JP leader came up with the statement while talking to journalists at the party chairman HM Ershad’s Banani office in the capital after ending interview of the aspirants for parliamentary reserved women seats.

He said after completing interview of the aspirants, the JP nomination board will hand over a list of the possible candidates to the party chairman. 

Talking to journalists, Jatiya Party secretary general Moshiur Rahman Ranga said the party will start distribution of nomination forms among the aspirants for Upazila Parishad election from February 7.
