Bangabandhu’s Homecoming Day observed at BRUR

RANGPUR: The historic Homecoming Day of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated on Thursday at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) in a befitting manner through elaborate programmes, reports BSS.

Begum Rokeya University Teachers’ Association (BRUTA), Muktijuddher Chetonay Pragotisheel Shikhkhok Samaj (MCPSS), teachers, students, officials and employees of the university placed wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu on the Independence Memorial premises in the campus.

Led by President of BRUTA Professor Dr Gazi Mazharul Anwar and its General Secretary Tabiur Rahman Prodhan, its member placed wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu on the Independence Memorial premises.

Led by Convener of MCPSS Professor Dr Abu Kalam Md Farid Ul Islam and its Member-secretary Mohammad Rafiul Azam Khan, its members placed wreaths there paying rich tribute to Bangabandhu.
