Specialized event to hunt computing talent held at North South University recently.

NSU ACM Student Chapter organised the sixth edition of the event where students presented 62 projects to demonstrate solution of real-life problems through technology.

ECE department head Associate Professor Shazzad Hosain was the chief guest at the prize giving ceremony at the university premise.

The project ideas varied from medical assistance technologies, automating daily life activities, maintaining natural and manmade structures through technology and many more amazing ideas.

Innovation challenge is a platform to compete on the ‘Capstone Projects’ which is a two-semester process for the final year students of the department.

Judges: Assistant Professor Shahnewaz Siddique, Senior Lecturer Naqib Imtiaz Hussain, Lecturers Ashfia Binte Habib, Rishad  Arfin and Fahimul Haque.

Champions: Shehab Ahmed, Wasif Mohammod Ibrahim, Abdullah Al Mahmud and Afran Sorwar.

First runners-up: first team - Asif Ahmed Niloy, Muhammad Shafayat Oshman, Monzurul Islam and Md Julhas Hossain. And second team -  Tafiq Jahan Anik, Tamanna Rahman Reme, Sabyasachi Biswas, Syed Abu Rayhen, Aimon Rahman

Second runners-up: first team – Mahmud Ul Islam, Hasibul Hasan Rahat and Rysul Islam. And second team - Khondaker Tanzim Alam, Rabiul Ali Sarker and Asma Binte Anwar.
