Handball referee training course concludes

Five-day long Handball Referee Training Course organised by Bangladesh Handball Referees Association, has come to an end on Monday with a certificate distributing ceremony at Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.

Walton Group sponsored the five-day training course.

Joint Secretary of Ministry for Youth and Sports, Md Omar Faruque distributed the certificates among the participants as the chief guest. Senior Operative Director (Games and Sports) of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar alongside Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) General Secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Bangladesh Women Sports General Secretary and Bangladesh Referees Association President Hamida Begum, BHF Assistant General Secretary SM Khalequzzaman Shawpon were present in the closing ceremony.

A total of 32 participants took part in the training course.

The budget of the tournament was estimated at Taka one lakh and thirty two thousand. The theoretical classes were held at office room of BHF, while the practical classes took place at Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
