Bangladesh win India series

Bangladesh won the three-match Wheelchair T20 Cricket series against hosts India after beating their Asian counterpart by seven wickets in the deciding game on Wednesday in Mumbai, said a BCB press release on Thursday.

 The home side went to bat first but disciplined bowling from the Tigers wrapped up India innings for 10 in the 14th over. India’s Romesh top scored for their side collecting 13 runs.

Bangladesh bowler Ujjal shined with ball bagging four wickets while Rajon, Ripon and Shipon picked up one each for their team.

In reply, Bangladesh reached their target in the 18th over losing only three wickets with Mithu hitting an unbeaten 50. His innings was laced with 10 fours. Ujjal supported him in the chase scoring 24 (not out).

Mithu was awarded the man of the match in the series decider.
