10 injured in Narsingdi AL factional clash

Narsingdi: At least 10 people were injured as two factions of Awami League clashed in Nilaksha union of Raipura upazila on Sunday flouting Section 144, reports UNB.
Quoting locals, Saidur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Narsingdi Detective Branch of police, said Rajiuddin Ahmed Raju, MP from Raipura, Raipura upazila chairman Mizanur Rahman along with other local leaders of Awami League went to Nilaksha union around noon to seek votes for Rajib Ahmed, member candidate in the Zila Parishad polls.
The local administration imposed the Section 144 at three places of Raipura upazila on November 18 following a clash between two factions of Awami League.
