CHITTAGONG: The authority of Chittagong Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) on Monday cancelled the summer vacation of the university.
A meeting between the vice-chancellor and delegations of teachers association took the decision to take classes and examinations instead of enjoying the 10-day summer vacation scheduled for late May.

CVASU VC Prof Dr Goutam Buddha Das, Teachers Association President Prof Goutam Kumar Debnath, General Secretary Prof Dr Mohammad Nurul Abser Khan and Student Welfare Director Prof Dr Mohammad Alamgir Hossain were present at the meeting.
Mentionable, the authority closed the university sine die on April 12 following a clash between students of the Veterinary Medicine and Fisheries faculties over cricket match leaving three injured.
