Kurigram Agricultural University gets new Pro-VC

The government has appointed Dr Mosammat Nur Mohal Akhter Banu, professor of entomology at Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, as the new pro-vice chancellor of Kurigram Agricultural University (KuriAU).

Dr Nur Mohal will serve in the position for the next four years unless she reaches retirement age earlier.

The Secondary and Higher Education Division (SHED) of the Ministry of Education issued a notification in this regard on Monday. Md Sultan Ahmed, secretary at the Public General University branch at SHED, signed the notification.

As per the notification, Dr Nur Mohal can wield the powers and perform duties entrusted to her by the vice-chancellor and the laws and regulations of KuriAU.
