40 DU students get scholarship

A total of 40 undergraduate students from different academic years of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded Sumitomo Corporation Scholarship of Japan on Sunday at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university.

 DU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman presided over the function while Treasurer Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, General Manager of the Sumitomo Corporation Ichiro Takahashi and representative from Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh Machiko Yamamura addressed it.
