Outgoing Nepalese envoy calls on FM

Outgoing Nepalese Ambassador in Dhaka Dr Chop Lal Bhushal on Thursday paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Dr A K Abdul Momen at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the meeting, the Foreign Minister referred to the priorities outlined by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He expressed his intention to solidify Bangladesh’s relations with its neighbours, including Nepal.

During the discussion, the Foreign Minister emphasised on Hydropower import from Nepal, establishing connectivity and increasing economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The outgoing Ambassador thanked the Bangladesh government for the support he received in discharging his duties in Bangladesh.
